Exciting adventures await our campers as we announce our day camp dates.  Children ages 3 and up are invited to ride a horse, fish, participate in arts and crafts, play games, explore our new sensory trail, make interesting snacks and experience many new projects with our caring staff and volunteers.   In the fall, our festival includes homemade jack-o-lanterns and bobbing for apples.  Santa will be here for our Christmas party.  Sign up now, spaces are limited.  

Sonrise Camp is a special place where children of all abilities meet new friends and experience exciting new adventures.  We also offer programs such as Horsemanship Lessons and Hippotherapy.

Hippotherapy Services - Services for speech and occupational therapy are provided through hippotherapy at Sonrise Camp.  Our occupational therapist is Amber Gilbert who is fulfilling a life long dream by providing hippotherapy to children at Sonrise.  She is a graduate of Brenau University with her Masters in Science.  Amber is a registered therapist and a certified riding instructor with the North American Riding for the Handicap Association. 

Diane Brower, M.Ed., CCC/SLP, is the Executive Director of the Northeast Georgia Speech Center.  Diane is providing speech therapy with our horses at Sonrise Camp.  She is also a Registered Therapist with the American Hippotherapy Association.  Please call the camp office, 678-450-6905 for more details.
