Lessons
are now being offered for children
ages 8 and up for basic horsemanship.
Learn safe, fun and educational riding
as we incorporate Christ in a
different aspect of life.
Instructors pray before and after
teaching and utilize opportune moments
while working with the horses to share
scriptural truths. Lessons in
English and Western Pleasure are being
offered by instructors certified by
the Christian Camp Horsemanship
International organization.
Lessons
begin with the safety aspect of
horsemanship. Our instructors
teach the basic concepts including the
behavior and social mannerisms of the
horse, proper grooming and
tacking, correct position in the
saddle, rein control, and how to ride
at the three basic gaits of walk,
trot, and canter.
Horsemanship Lesson Fees:
Private
Lesson: 1 hour, $40 per week.
Monthly fee if paid in advance, $150
Groups
of 2 or more children:
1 hour per week, $30 per week.
Monthly fee if paid in advance, $110

Classes
offered in English and Western
Pleasure for ages 7 and up. Pee
Wee classes are also available for
ages 4 to 6.
